Beyond Diagnosis

Parkinson's

A diagnosis of Parkinson’s can bring uncertainty, questions and many different emotions. This guide has been created by The Sophie Reid Neurological Association to help you understand your diagnosis, feel supported and remind you that you are not alone.

What is Parkinson's

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement and can also affect mood, sleep, thinking, speech and many other aspects of daily life. Symptoms vary from person to person, and no two journeys are exactly the same.
